”Removing dependence, promoting independence”
A teenage youth club for young people aged 13-17 years of age. JJ’s Crew is a lively youth club offering teenagers a chance to spend quality time together learning new things and having fun at the same time. Each month is themed (eg. teamwork, communication, healthy living) and is based loosely around three optional activities (sport, cooking and media/arts/drama). They decide what they would like for their lunch each month and they go for a walk to the nearby supermarket to select, buy and then cook the chosen recipes! JJ’s Crew is primarily about life skills and promoting their independence.
JJ’s takes place on roughly the first Saturday of every month (term time only) at Ridgeway School, Kempston, from 12:30pm – 3:30pm.
