Volunteering Opportunities
In addition to the various projects we run are always keen to hear from any individuals who would like to be involved with the work of the Cerebral Palsy Society.
There are a range of voluntary opportunities available at Bedford & District Cerebral Palsy Society. Volunteers assist in the daily running of the office, on the playschemes, in fundraising and as trustees of the charity.
We still have vacancies at present on our board of trustees. In
particular we are desperately seeking someone to take on the role of
Treasurer. This role involves maintaining an overview of BDCPS’s
finances, ensuring proper financial records and procedures are kept
and maintained. The treasurer also presents a report to the board of
trustees meeting each month and is often involved in promotions,
fundraising and development of the charity.
For more information on volunteering contact Bedford & District Cerebral Palsy Society at
bedscpsociety@tiscali.co.uk or call 01234 351759.
